Low Carb BBQ Chicken Pizza

yes folks…you can have Pizza and do low carb ! Of all the things I miss the most..pizza is the one thing…that I truly can’t live without…
so my son and I set out to make our own low carb BBQ sauce.. and invent a bbq chicken pizza!!
It turned out so delishious..your going to love it!!!!!!!!
We used low carb tortillas for the crust…we love using these little things..in many different ways…
they are a life safer when you are low carbing..
it’s not something we eat everyday..but they are a huge treat for us… so as you can see from the picures..these look sooo goood and they taste as good as it looks..so heres the recipe.. and give us some feed back on how you liked it..
Low Carb BBQ sauce
2 T. butter
2 whole cloves of garlic minced
1 C. Reduced sugar Ketchup
1/3 cup Splenda brown sugar
1 T apple cider vinegar
4 T liquid smoke
1/4 C chopped onion
3 T mustard powder
1 T. Onion Powder
place all ingredients into a saucepan and cook for 30-45 minutes until thick. Let cool and place in mason jar.
2 carbs per Tablespoons
TO make the low Carb BBQ Chicken Pizza
Take low carb tortilla
spread with 1 T low carb BBQ sauce
add spread mexican cheese..
top with shredded canned chicken
sprinkle with additional cheese and put under broiler until cheese is melted…
YUMO!
Our tortillas have 4 carbs in it..plus 2 for BBQ sauce..if you use more sauce be sure to up the carbs..we found 2 was enough to cover the tortilla…
enjoy!!!
You could also use this sauce on meat..bbq ribs,wings, etc…
